Premise: There is great power when people are willing to stand together for good and walk with the underprivileged in a spirit of commonalities before differences. Where people are traumatized by war, they need counseling and affirmation. Where they are lacking fresh water they need this basic resource to reduce the spread of disease, gender violence, and HIV.

thankful4water - Monthly Declaration

Declare that you are thankful4water and the power of community by joining with us with a small monthly gift. This gift, joined by members of your community, will save lives and bring freedom. Your timely gift and declaration of thanks will assist refugees in their quest to return home after displacement to IDP camps for an entire generation. The availability of fresh drinking water often dictates whether or not people can go home. Donations for the “Thankful 4 Water ” initiative will fund water projects in Northern Uganda intending to increase community health standards, educate communities about water and hygiene sanitation, and enable families confined to refugee camp communities to return to their villages for the first time after a generation of displacement.
